I am Jovena Carla Aquino Dela Cruz, fourth year college student taking up Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, Major in English at Holy Angel University. I decided to take this path because this is what I want- it's a personal choice. I want to change lives and inspire little minds.
Teaching or being a teacher is like being a life changer. In this profession you may either break or make a future for your students. It's challenging, yes I know, but overwhelming at the same time. As a teacher, our focus is not just on the academic achievements and enrichments of our students it's more than that. We have to affect them in every aspects of life and teach them not only on the different subjects but most importantly life lessons that would help them succeed beyond written quizzes and exams and turned them to the persons they aspired to be in the future. And I, I want to challenge myself and be a future life changer and help students make their dreams come into reality.

DeleteIt is true that you must not just teach academic but also you must teach them life lessons that can touch their lives. I'm not saying that academic lessons are not important to learn but the thing is, when they remembered you because you helped them in some manner for sure it would melt your heart. That's the great feeling a teacher could feel. ☺️
